Survey, design, construction and legalization of drilling and shaft wells, catchments and drainages. Video inspection by 3D borehole camera and pumping tests by data loggers. Design of sanitary - protection zones
The company performs all necessary design services related to research, design, construction and legalization of groundwater sources – catchments, drains, drilling and shaft wells. We have prepared project documentation related to the legalization of water sources and the construction of sanitary – protection zones for a number of facilities in Bulgaria.
Technical inspection and geodetic survey of captured springs
The procedure related to the legalization of underground water sources is complex and specific. A large number of documents, calculations and drawings are required. We are well acquainted with all of them and we actively work with our customers so that, in addition to issuing a permit, we can also offer adequate solutions for protecting the quality of underground water. When the flow rate of a given source is not sufficient to cover the relevant needs, we can prepare a project for new water intakes, according to the current regulations.
Execution of drawdown pumping test in shaft well
All of our developments are based on real field work. As a result, we get an accurate idea of the hydrogeological conditions, the way of formation, the type of groundwater and the nature of the environment containing it. At the same time, we do a construction inspection and geodetic survey. All this is a prerequisite for making adequate decisions when preparing the project documentation.
Hydrogeological survey of the park next to Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport
Apart from a necessity of primary importance, groundwater can also be a serious obstacle during the construction and operation of engineering facilities. Near Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport, we carried out a detailed hydrogeological survey of the park, affected by high levels of groundwater.
Drawdown pumping test with monitoring well at the airport park
For the reliable determination of the hydrogeological parameters of the layers, it is appropriate to conduct filtration tests with at least two boreholes – a pumping well, from which water is abstracted with a certain flow rate and a nearby monitoring well, where we track the change of water level. In this case, the geological environment is made up of highly permeable gravels and sands, which necessitated the decision to build a water-lowering system of drilling wells.
